FESTIVAL FINALE FIREWORKS
The Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert is the grand finale to the Edinburgh International Festival and a fitting climax to three weeks of cultural hedonism that is “The Edinburgh Festival”.
Join the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for a rousing night of some famous film music. The technical and artistic wizards of Pyrovision once again choreograph a stunning display to match the orchestra’s exuberant music-making.
As well as in ticketed areas in Princes Street Gardens the Fireworks are visible from various vantage points across the city. You can listen to the concert live on ForthFM and get the full “fireworks” experience wherever you are in the city!
INTERNATIONAL RUGBY
This year Scotland play host to the Springboks and the mighty All Blacks at Murrayfield. You haven’t felt atmosphere until you’ve heard Flower of Scotland sung by 60,000 patriotic Scots – book early to ensure you do.
BEYOND THE FESTIVALS
Believe it or not there is much to see and do in Edinburgh after the madness of the festivals. Quieter streets for one and whilst the weather is still quite good North Berwick, with it’s hills, castles and bird colonies, is a great place to visit.
