All bedding is supplied and the rooms are cleaned every day. Each level has its own washroom facilities. Additionally, towels are available to rent from reception still at our 1985 price of 20p!!! (we opened in 1985)

To book – either do it on this website or by phone 0131 5573984 (and credit card) – we should answer phone calls at any time unless its really busy or its in the middle of the night and the night porter is down in the cellar laundry with the ghosts (we were originally built around 1564 so there are a few ghosts but only in the laundry, late at night, especially when there’s no-one else around, never in the bedrooms – honestly!).
